“After a Midwest adolescence of bb gun wars, skateboarding, getting into trouble, and going to punk / metal shows, Ben left his Kentucky boyhood behind and moved west for studies in Arizona. While sorting out his future there, Ben found his passion for photography and used it to explore that lost childhood he left back in Kentucky. He began documenting his life through his favorite bands, friends, and all the hi-jinx they got into, which led him to make the decision to pursue photography full time. Ben quickly left Arizona for an education in photographic studies at the Art Center College of Design. After graduating with a bachelors of arts degree with a focus in photography he made his pilgrimage to New York where he has since made his home in Brooklyn.
